A US Federal Judge has approved a settlement on police reform between the justice department and the city of Ferguson in Missouri. The settlement stems from the 2014 fatal shooting by a police officer of Michael Brown and an unarmed black teenager. And investigation found alarming racial bias in police in Ferguson and threaten to sue to the city after its council rejected recommendations for reform. A suicide bomb and gun attack by Taliban militants in Kabul has killed 28 people and injured more than 300. The United States has expressed its deep disappointment to the failure of South Sudan's rebel leader Riek Machar to return to the capital Juba as part of a peace deal. A message in a bottle that was thrown into the sea of Plymouth more than a century ago and picked up on a German island last year has been confirmed as the oldest ever found. Guinness World Records say it was a part of 1907 experiment to track ocean movements. Guy Baker, from the Marine Biological Association, says it may not have much scientific use, but it's significant. To hold it in our hand and know it has been floating around for over a century and that was always clearly what enough designed to take anything and all seek through it. It's really exciting.
